If you look at the people around you, chances are someone you know has experienced domestic violence. Our founder has seen firsthand the devastating impact abuse can have on survivors, their families, and entire communities.
More than a decade ago, she discovered the life-changing work of organizations that provide survivors with a safe place to heal while offering opportunities to learn marketable skills and earn income as they rebuild their lives. Although Savage Daughter® Pasta was founded in Knoxville, where our founder grew up, its mission was inspired by the extraordinary work of GreenHouse17 in Lexington, Kentucky. Having called Kentucky home for more than 26 years, she is proud to continue that mission in Central Kentucky, supporting local organizations that empower survivors of domestic violence and help them rebuild their lives.
Savage Daughter® Pasta was founded on the belief that exceptional food can do more than bring people together – it can help change lives. Our mission is to craft exceptional fresh pasta while supporting survivors of domestic violence through community partnerships, charitable giving, and a long-term commitment to creating opportunities that empower survivors to build safe, independent futures.
To help turn that mission into action, a portion of the proceeds from every package of pasta sold directly to our customers is donated each quarter to nonprofit organizations serving survivors of domestic violence from East Tennessee to Central Kentucky.
Thank you for supporting Savage Daughter® and for helping us make a meaningful difference in the lives of survivors across Central Kentucky and beyond.
